A 22-unit residential development in Ōtara spanning three streets, comprising a mix of precast and timber standalone homes alongside duplexes. The project utilised hybrid offsite manufacturing for simplified, fast onsite installation and concurrent builds, with house construction completed in 26.5 weeks from slab up. The development was completed ahead of project schedule in 10 months from building consent to council final inspection. A standout sustainability achievement saw less than 50% of allocated waste bins used, thanks to the uptake of onsite sorting stations — averaging just 1.2 nine-cubic-metre bins per unit. Exceptional quality standards were maintained throughout, with effective collaboration across the entire project team.
