A 12-home residential development in Sandringham comprising two precast concrete 3-level residential blocks, utilising PCL hybrid precast construction. The development includes six 2-bedroom and six 3-bedroom homes, with four fully accessible (FUD) units. The project showcased a unique use of precast concrete to achieve aesthetically pleasing and distinctive architectural finishes, with a high level of quality throughout. Hybrid offsite manufacturing was used for simplified, fast onsite installations — from standing precast panels to roof on in just 15 weeks. The project was delivered in 10 months from building consent to council final inspection, three weeks ahead of schedule, through effective coordination of trades, a strong commitment to high-quality workmanship, and a collaborative approach between clients, consultants and main contractors. The development achieved a Homestar 6 rating.
